Insurance Agent – NM Smith Agency LLC

NM Smith Agency LLC, an American Family Insurance agency, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Insurance Agent to join our team. You’ll help clients protect what matters most by providing insurance solutions tailored to their needs. The ideal candidate has sales experience and holds a Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health Insurance license.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
• Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products (auto, home, life, business, etc.).
• Generate leads through networking, referrals, and agency-provided opportunities.
• Present and explain policy options, terms, and coverage clearly and professionally.
• Manage policy renewals, adjustments, and claims support.
• Meet or exceed agency sales goals and performance targets.
• Maintain accurate client records while ensuring compliance with company and state requirements.

Qualifications:
• Active Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health Insurance license (preferred).
• Previous sales experience, ideally in insurance or financial services.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Goal-driven with a track record of achieving sales targets.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team environment.
• Tech-savvy with experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office (preferred).
